How can the UK be healthier through time in local nature?

🗓️ Tuesday 21st July
🕰️ 18:30 - 21:00
📍 Treo House, SW9
💸 Free!
🎟️ 30 tickets available

It is Common Nature's belief that everyone in the UK has the right to be healthier through time in local nature. However, growing disconnection between local community and local land, along with increasingly sedentary and indoor lifestyles, is preventing this from happening.

The 'healthy life expectancy' in the UK is dropping, while obesity, loneliness, and anxiety all grow. At an organisational level, burnout, absenteeism, and staff turnover are increasing year-on-year. We know - and the evidence supports it – that time in nature, and in community, can ease all of these trends.

So how do we create a culture of 'health in nature' across the UK? Common Nature is trying to answer that question, and we’d love you to join us as we launch this movement. Hosted at Treo House, the evening will be an interactive exploration of staying well in challenging times: what keeps us well, what gets in the way, and what we need more of.

Simon Lamb from Common Nature will share practical tools across movement and breathwork. Andres Roberts - advisor to the brand and Founder of The Bio-Leadership Project - will facilitate an exploration of how we tend to systems, from self to planet, to support this growing need for health in nature.
