Farmers, Growers, and Land Stewards

Farming and growing is difficult. Unpredictable weather patterns, differing beliefs around practices, narrow margins, inconsistent government policies, variable public perception, and deep social isolation. Added to this, they will typically place their land and livestock's wellbeing above their own. It is not surprising, therefore, that many farmers are struggling.

Farmers and land stewards sit at the heart of our vision as a business, to create 100 hubs of natural health across the UK. This is why we have devised a natural health programme focussed specifically on them, alongside the opportunity to open their land up as a commercial and meaningful proposition.

The programme weaves together practical, science-backed tools and tips, guided by the season. Additionally, there is the chance to share with others who understand the pressures, and perhaps to experience land from a different perspective. We use our same three pillars to create this education experience: Healthy Body, Healthy Community, and Healthy Land. Movement, breath, mindfulness, sleep, nutrition, food, and nature, woven into practical habits for everyone, every day.

Farming communities report some of the highest rates of social isolation in the UK, closely linked to depression and reduced help-seeking.

The Farm Safety Foundation found that 9 in 10 farmers say poor mental health is the biggest hidden problem facing the industry today.

Community-based nature programmes show measurable reductions in loneliness and improved help-seeking among rural participants.

Reconnecting with the land's natural rhythms has been shown to reduce stress and rebuild a sense of purpose.

Farming is one of the hardest professions in the country. The isolation, the pressure, the uncertainty - it can take a real toll. This programme is designed for the people who tend the land we all depend on.

Working in small groups with others who understand the pressures of life on the land, they will learn science-backed, practical tools across movement, breath, sleep, nutrition, and nature immersion - shaped by the season, because no one knows nature's rhythm better than a farmer or grower.

Network of Natural Health Hubs

For those who own or manage the land there is also the opportunity to open it to local communities - sharing what they steward, connecting with the people around them, and leaving a model for future generations - to be healthier through knowing and caring for the land they live on.

Land stewards will be invited to join our growing network of natural health hubs, helping local communities stay well through time in nature. As it grows, this network will offer a route to opening private land safely and considerately, in a system that is commercially viable and beneficial to the community.
