🗓️ Thursday 12th November
🕰️ 18:30 - 20:00
📍 Broad Chalke Village Hall, SP5 5DN
💸 £15
🎟️ 25 tickets available
Join Simon – Founder of Common Nature – for an evening of mindful movement (the ancient Chinese practice Qigong), breathwork, and reflection. Using Autumn as a guide, this evening will explore how the season lives in our body and what it encourages in our lives.
As the days shorten and our energy reserves reduce, Autumn is a time to let go of what no longer serves us, begin turning our gaze inwards, and consider what we wish to carry forward towards Winter.
Simon will share a series of accessible movement and breathwork techniques that help with this autumnal process: releasing stagnant energy, calming the mind, and settling the nervous system.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine – the philosophy of health from which Qigong emerges – the season is connected to our lungs and breath. It's a time when coughs are common, so Simon will spend some time focusing on the lungs and how we can support them to help us stay well.
After a gently energising movement flow, the class will finish with a relaxing guided breathwork sequence to let everything settle before returning to the world outside.
No fitness level, prior experience, or knowledge required. Come as you are. All are welcome. If the ticket price is a problem, please email hello@wearecommonnature.com and we'll see what we can do to make it accessible for you.
