Staying well to do the work that matters

As a small start-up focused on health, we know first-hand how hard it is to balance being and doing in pursuit of purpose. Running a business, a team or your own practice is demanding, and in a culture that prizes being relentless and always “on”, it’s easy to lose that balance and end up burnt out or running on empty.

This hour-long online workshop is an invitation to come back into balance and to set down some of what you’re carrying. Simon, founder of Common Nature, will share simple breath techniques and seated movements that release tension and help regulate the nervous system. We’ll then open up a facilitated conversation where participants swap the tips and tools they use to stay well. Expect an hour that leaves you both calmer and re-energised, as well as connected to a group who understand the challenges you are facing.

The hour

13:00 Welcome and check-in
13:05 Breath and seated movement practices
13:20 “How well am I?” reflection exercise
13:30 Breakout conversations on staying well
13:45 Reflections as a group

In partnership with BiCo

This session is run in partnership with the Bio Leadership Co-operative (BiCo), a collaborative home for nature-led ventures and a place where nature-centred leaders keep learning and growing together.
